This week my Grandpa came to visit and while he was here we had him paint a special mural in my baby boy’s nursery.
Since my husband let me go crazy with pink princess stuff when we had our little girl, I told him that when we had a boy he could do whatever he wanted in his room. So, from the minute we found out we were having a boy, Travis has been planning this Brigham Young University Football room. Neither of us attended BYU for school, but my husband has loved their football team since he was little. This nursery has a BYU football signed by all the 2008 players (the year our baby boy was born), a signed picture of Daddy with LaVell Edwards, a football signed by Bronco Mendenhall, a card signed by Ty Detmer, and much more BYU decor. It’s like a trophy room made into a nursery and Daddy couldn’t be happier about it.
I wasn’t too sure about the whole BYU nursery, but it turned out so cute! Good job babe! Now the only thing I have to feel bad for you about is me not letting you name our son LaVell!
