My little 2 year old, Lexi, is growing up! I have tried to keep this from happening so fast, but there is nothing I can do about it she is turning into a little girl.
Yesterday she disappeared for about 20 minutes. This usually never happens, she will go play and come back after 10 minutes asking me to help her get something, or to come play, or some other request. But, yesterday she had been playing and didn’t come to get me for anything. I tip-toed to her room and peeked in to see what she was up to. Lexi had all of her dolls lined up across her bed and she was taking pictures of them with her pretend princess camera. The best part about the whole scene was that she was saying, “Say Cheeseburgers!”. It was the most adorable thing! I guess she was being a good Mommy and having a little photo shoot with all her babies.
It is so nice to have some free time while she is off in her own little world playing, but I am learning how fast your kids really grow up. Hopefully, this will inspire me to enjoy every minute I have with her as my little girl!
